If there is one thing I have discussed with ALL parents I have ever met…it’s sleep (or the lack thereof!) It comes up in every one of my classes and it is consistently rated as the most challenging part of parenthood
Sleep in the first year can feel confusing, emotional and overwhelming. Wether you are navigating a total change of your sleep patterns as a new parent or adding a new baby to your family, this nurturing workshop is designed to help parents understand what is biologically normal, release unrealistic expectations, and feel confident supporting sleep without pressure, training or guilt.
Sleep isn’t something your baby needs to be trained to do —
it’s something that develops, with support and understanding.
 What We’ll Explore
How infant sleep develops in the first year
Understanding sleep cycles, night waking and why sleep changes over time
 Your baby’s unique sleep needs
Learning how to read your baby’s individual sleep cues rather than following rigid rules
 Sleep pressure (homeostatic sleep drive)
What it is, how it builds, and how it can support smoother nap and bedtime transitions
 Common causes of sleep disturbances
Developmental changes, illness, separation, sensory needs and environmental factors — and how to navigate these with confidence and compassion
 Setting up your sleep space
Creating a sleep environment that supports safety, comfort and rest for the whole family
 Supporting parents alongside baby sleep
Managing exhaustion, releasing unrealistic expectations and trusting your instincts
