About this Event
Language is slippery. Change one letter in a word and its meaning is completely altered. How much can you remove from a poem and retain its meaning? What happens when you splice together two proverbs? This workshop with Manchester Cathedral’s writer-in-residence Tom Branfoot will look at Oulipo-inspired language-based strategies to sidestep writers’ block.
Tuesday 9th September 4-6pm at Manchester Cathedral. All abilities welcome to the playful session. Free entry. Spaces limited to 20.
