Shows 2024: Screen

Shows 2024: Screen brings together courses from across our Screen School to explore how sight, sound and moving image can generate powerful immersive experiences.

With practice underpinned by established approaches, contemporary theories and cutting-edge technologies, Screen students work across areas ranging from film, television, immersive media and animation to sound arts, visual effects and games design.

Featured projects reflect life within a community designed to mirror the nature of industry environments, and consider a multiplicity of audiences, tools and identities. Connected by collaboration, students have developed work that represents, interrogates and generates experiences through new worlds and new forms – demonstrating the scope of their tremendous creative ambition, as they prepare to showcase powerful narratives, bravely told.

Courses showing include:

 • BA (Hons) Animation
 • BA (Hons) Film Practice
 • BA (Hons) Film and Screen Studies
 • BA (Hons) Film and Television
 • BA (Hons) Games Design
 • BA (Hons) Sound Arts
 • BA (Hons) Virtual Reality

Celebrate new forms of creativity at London College of Communication's Shows 2024

Throughout their time at the College, our students not only learn the foundations of their disciplines, but also the skills needed to transform them.

Working across Design, Media and Screen, their final projects explore the legacy of our past and visions of our future, harnessing opportunities generated by creative thinking in a rapidly evolving world.

With themes ranging from community, identity and connection to social responsibility, digital advancement and climate justice, featured work has been designed to pose critical questions, engage with vital conversations and inspire impactful change.

In a moment that captures years of transformative learning, join our graduating students as they set new futures in motion, and reflect on both their individual and collective growth.

UAL Showcase

Graduating students across all undergraduate courses will also have the opportunity to showcase their work on our innovative online platform, the UAL Showcase.

Providing an opportunity to exhibit work digitally in dynamic and accessible ways, the Showcase site enables students to connect with audiences ranging from family, friends and members of the public to prospective buyers, collaborators and employers.

Student work will launch on the UAL Showcase from 16 May.
