On Sunday, April 19, 2026, the Ohio River Valley Chapter of NSAL and Campus Martius Museum will present a showcase of American History and Arts in honor of our nation’s Semiquincentennial at the Campus Martius Museum in Marietta, Ohio.We are looking for applicants between the ages of 8 and 18 to perform or display their work. The categories include:
Poetry recitation or memorized monologue or speech (no more than four minutes) of a historical nature. Costumes are optional.
Musical presentation, either vocal or instrumental, of a song from the colonial era or a song representing American history. (up to three minutes, there is no piano on site)
Original art works or crafts representing our American history, including drawings, paintings, sculptures, or crafts such as quilting projects, braided rugs, etc.
To enter for a chance to be in the Showcase, please complete the application and send a video of your presentation or artwork and the application to [email protected] with the subject line SHOWCASE. Applications are due March 18, 2026.
DO NOT take entries for the contest directly to Campus Martius.
