Join the Office of Small Business for May's Show Up for Small Business, an ongoing collaboration with Better Portland, PIE, Latino Founders, Portland Metro Chamber and Built Oregon.
The idea is simple: We pick the spot. You support the businesses.
Every quarter, we’ll choose a spot in a different neighborhood or business district. Then, it's up to you to show up and do your part by shopping, grabbing a beverage, or dining at the small businesses in that area. No agenda. No speeches. Just all of us celebrating the amazing small businesses that make Portland unique.
In May we are headed to SW Portland and meeting at Kismayo Somali Restaurant on SW Barbur Blvd. And while in SW Portland you can support nearby small businesses like Thai Orchid Restaurant, SHO Japanese Restaurant, Barbur World Foods, Kuang's Kitchen, The Old Barn, Bullseye Pub, and Barber on Barbur if you need a quick haircut before the event
These are always free to attend but if you can, please RSVP just so we can get a general number to pass on to the businesses. We hope to see you on May 13th.
