Shiva–Shakti is an evening of dance exploring the dynamic interplay between consciousness and power, stillness and flow, force and compassion. Rooted in Indian philosophy yet resonating far beyond cultural boundaries, the concept of Shiva and Shakti invites us to reflect on balance,within the universe and within ourselves.
This special NIB edition brings together Berlin-based classical dancers, each presenting their own choreographic work inspired by the Shiva–Shakti principle. From classical vocabulary to contemporary explorations, the evening celebrates individuality, collaboration, and the vibrant local dance community that calls Berlin home.
Expect an intimate sharing of movement, music, and meaning where tradition meets personal interpretation, and where everybody becomes a site of transformation.
