The Shirt Tail Stompers are steeped in the hot jazz and swing dance traditions of the 1920s and 30s, delivering the music with an infectious joy. A young band with an old soul, they play this repertoire the way it’s meant to be heard - lively, rhythm-driven with tight ensemble playing. It’s music that's impossible to sit still for – bring your dancing shoes!
Doors open at 19:30. Seating is unreserved. The band will play three music sets, with two intervals. The venue has a licenced bar serving drinks.

The Edinburgh Jazz 'n Jive Club offers on Fridays live Jazz music in a relaxed club house atmosphere, with a bar and an excellent, wooden dance floor. The music is generally suitable for dancing Foxtrot and Swing (Lindy Hop, Shag, Balboa). Come along to listen to superb Jazz and to dance the evening away!
The main entrance is from Bangholm Terrace, with step-free access from Warriston Gardens corner Inverleith Row.
