Step into the ancient heart of the landscape around Emain Macha this Sheelagh’s Day with a guided walk from Navan Centre to the King’s Stables. This immersive journey follows ancient roads and pathways in an area long associated with ceremony. Along the way, participants will explore the cultural and spiritual significance of the landscape, traditions linked to Sheelagh’s Day and the enduring power of this extraordinary sacred space. The walk is approximately 1.5 miles in each direction and will take 35 minutes each way so a reasonable level of fitness is required, although we will be walking at a comfortable pace. Light lunch is provided on return to the Navan Centre.
