She Shreds Festival RETURNS with a FULL DAY of original music, community, and unapologetic femme-powered music. Taking place on Saturday, April 18th from 2-8pm at Webster Park located at Webster & Taylor Streets (formerly The Healing Garden) in Alameda, this women-centered event brings together fearless female and female-fronted artists of all backgrounds for a vibrant, grassroots celebration of creativity, connection, and live music done on our own terms.
She Shreds highlights female-fronted bands and solo artists who defy genre boundaries and challenge the status quo of a music industry where women have long been underrepresented.
We celebrate ALL genres of music, and is all about carving out space for women to own the stage, share the spotlight, and support one another. The vibe is intimate, inclusive, and fueled by love for the music and the community that surrounds it.
She Shreds is MORE than a single event, it’s a growing music community dedicated to uplifting women artists through live performance, collaboration, and mutual support. In addition to the festival, She Shreds hosts quarterly She Shreds Sessions; intimate live music events held at The Fireside Lounge, creating consistent opportunities for artists and audiences to connect year-round.

She Shreds is also actively seeking collaborators! We are excited to connect with artists, organizers, volunteers, community groups, and women-run businesses who want to help build something meaningful together. This work is rooted in the belief that no woman is an island (even if our events take place on one); real impact happens when we share resources, ideas, labor, and support.
Together, these events build toward larger festivals, deeper partnerships, and expanded support for women in music.
