About this Event
The She is The Moment Micro Film Festival has now expanded to a day fest! Throughout the day attendees can expect a mini vendor market, multiple short films shown in previous years, and a special director 1:1 interview and Q&A . The evening portion of the She is The Moment Micro-Film Fest will include the screening of 4 new short films all written, directed and/or starring Black LGBTQ+ Women. The films range from comedy, to abstract, to classsic romance all of which tell the stories of Black Queer Women through different lenses.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion featuring 4 community organizers and leaders who have made it their mission to create safe and empowering spaces for all in the DFW Metroplex. These four panelists are consistently pushing the boundary on what it looks like to take action within the local Dallas community to actually make a change for the better.
Light refreshements and drinks will be served.
