MICHELINE MENDELSOHN- CEO Sunnyside Restaurant Group

Micheline Mendelsohn brings unparalleled marketing and communications expertise to Sunnyside Restaurant Group, along with years of leadership as CEO overseeing six restaurant brands. With a background in journalism and a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of Chicago, Micheline has played a central role in launching and scaling acclaimed fast-casual concepts including Good Stuff Eatery, We, The Pizza, bumblebirds and Santa Rosa Taqueria.

From concept development through opening day, Micheline leads brand strategy, marketing, franchisee relations, and communications, playing a key role in the successful expansion of Sunnyside’s portfolio across the globe.

Micheline also serves as Partnerships Advisor for the Culinary Diplomacy Project, where she helps build strategic collaborations that use food as a platform for cultural exchange. She is a member of  DC Central Kitchen, Les Dames d’Escoffier, and is a founding member of REHER, a collective of women hospitality owners.

MANDY MILLS , Principal Agent MDT Real Estate/ Executive VP at Compass

An Executive Vice-President at Compass, founding principal agent Mandy Mills has been selling residential real estate in the Washington-DC area for over 20 years. Known for her generosity of spirit, broad market knowledge and ability to see the promise in a property, she is an honest and trusted advisor in assessing and forecasting value.

Sensing an opportunity to provide a broader, white glove, full-service experience, Mills co-founded MDT Real Estate (formerly The Mandy & David Team) in 2005 to better serve her growing list of buyers and sellers. The team’s ability to manage their clients’ experience through every aspect of a transaction, build upon their shared market knowledge and serve clients in every neighborhood and at every price point quickly made them a local leader. By 2013, they would be ranked as the #7 Coldwell Banker team in the country.

The following year Mills was approached by the upstart real estate brokerage, Compass, and her group became the brokerage’s first signed team outside of New York City. With career sales of nearly $3 Billion, MDT has been one of DC’s top producers for the past decade and is consistently recognized in the Wall Street Journal’s annual Real Trends The Thousand and Washingtonian Magazine’s Top 100 Agents.

Mills is a champion of local causes, co-founding DC Wise and serving as a board member for the capacity-building non-profit, Fair Chance. She has created multiple fundraising initiatives to support her neighborhood public school, including the community-enhancing Mount Pleasant House & Garden Tour. A nationally-recognized figure in real estate, Mills has spoken on panels with industry luminaries such as Compass CEO, Robert Reffkin, and top national producers, The Jills (Miami) and Jade Mills (Beverly Hills, no relation).

Mandy is a proud graduate of The University of North Carolina and lives near the National Zoo with her husband and three children.

MAGGIE ONEAL- Co-Founder Swatchroom/Artist

Maggie O’Neill is a creative visionary, artist and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience shaping the cultural and design landscape of Washington, D.C. She co-founded SWATCHROOM in 2013, leading the creation of immersive environments for over 80 restaurants, nightclubs, hotels, and commercial spaces. Today, she is committed to designing spaces and creating experiences through art that foster engagement, connection and civic engagement

Maggie's signature pop-impressionist artwork is collected across the U.S. and internationally, and she collaborates with brands, cultural institutions, and communities to create impactful public art, murals, and immersive experiences. Maggie's portfolio includes major projects such as the renovation of the historic Willard Hotel, international collaborations in Morocco, and a wide range of commercial and hospitality spaces. She has been recognized with the 2024 Mayor’s Arts Award for Excellence in the Visual Arts, and serves as a Commissioner for the D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities, and has been featured in The New York Times, Forbes, The Washington Post, Modern Luxury, ABC, and NBC. Maggie continues to lead with bold creativity, bridging the worlds of design, activism, and cultural impact—one vibrant space at a time

Maggie’s latest endeavor as an activist and founder of the Vote For Your Daughter campaign, the arts nonprofit Our Daughter’s Futures Fund, and the FOREVER FEARLESS exhibition reflects her commitment to civic engagement and social change. Both organizations leverage the power of art and artist networks with a grassroots approach inspiring action and raising awareness to educate American voters on critical issues that directly impact women and girls.

ANA HARVEY - CEO Dupont Underground

CRYSTAL PATTERSON- CEO Washington Media Group

Crystal Patterson is the CEO of Washington Media Group, a woman-owned strategic communications firm based in Washington, D.C. She has positioned WMG to fill a gap she saw in the market: senior-level strategic counsel delivered with the flexibility, creativity, and accountability of a boutique firm.

Crystal has advised Fortune 200 companies, advocacy organizations, and public leaders on navigating reputational challenges, regulatory landscapes, and politically complex environments. As a founder, she has built WMG with a focus on strategic clarity, relationship-driven growth, and disciplined execution.

She believes women founders bring a distinct advantage to high-pressure industries: resilience, judgment, and an ability to lead through complexity - all skills she uses every day in her work.

STACEY PRICE- Co-Founder / CEO Shop Made Brands

Stacey Price has over two decades of experience activating community. Price, first an economic development consultant and now a talented curator and CEO, is on a mission to grow the maker economy. In 2017 she launched Shop Made in DC, a new generation incubator that uses inventive space to empower and scale DC artisans. Since opening she and her team have launched Shop Made in Virginia and Shop Made in Maryland, supporting over 1000 artists with access to customers, education and capital. In less than 8 years, she has helped launch 9 locations and generate nearly $17 million back to local makers.

Creatively connecting community and commerce is her strategy for vibrant ecosystems. As a Washington, DC based social entrepreneur, she spends her days nurturing independent business while closely advising municipalities, developers, and nonprofits to plan, create and manage projects that grow the local economy. As former Executive Director of Think Local First DC , she helped launch incubator programs such as MADE IN DC and StartUP Kitchen and worked on policy supporting independent business growth.

She has married her background in business and communication with her passion for education and vibrant local economy to help scale 1000s of independent retail brands. Using experience as a tool for engagement, Stacey has planned campaigns, conferences, festivals, pop-up retail events and marketplaces. Since 2014 she has been working with property owners and developers to re-imagine mix-use properties to include temporary activation, collaborative retail and small batch production space; all working to improve their bottom-line while providing low-entry to market opportunities for small business.

Stacey has a Masters Degree in Corporate Communication from Radford University, completing her thesis work in Social Capital and Community Engagement.
