Sharing DNA: K-pop and Poetry / Cultural Welcome Week

Some of the best lyricists in K-pop are also known to be avid readers of poetry: RM, IU, Tablo of Epik High, etc. In this workshop, we will compare how they and 'traditional' poets write about similar subjects in their lyrics/poems. Then you will have time to try your hand at some writing too! Participants should come with a K-pop song that they understand the lyrics to or have a translation of, or alternatively a poem they want to work with.
