FOR SUPPORTERS AND MEMBERS ONLY
Share and Learn Sessions bring together likeminded people managers to discuss employment practice, share any challenges they may be facing and hear how other organisations implement good practice. This year the Share and Learns pilot a new format and focus on the different Employment Rights Act 2025 ('ERA') changes throughout the year.
Our first session explores the updates around industrial relations, understanding trade union recognition and the positive impacts of an organisation working closely with a trade union. This session is only for organisations who have no prior experience of working with trade unions and do not have any formal recognition agreement in place. (See below for additional attendance eligibility.)
We will be delivering this session in partnership with Acas.

Who is eligible to attend this event?
This event is strictly for HR team members and people managers from organisations who:
- Have 10 or more full time employees; and
- Have no prior experience of dealing with trade unions; and
- Do not have a trade union recognition agreement in place yet; and
- Who are registered Supporters or Members of the Good Employment Charter.
Attendance
Registration will initially be limited to one person per organisation due to the event capacity.
Waitlist
There will be a waitlist for this event once it reaches capacity. Places often become available so we recommend registering to join the waitlist and we will contact you if a space becomes free.
If you are allocated a place from the waitlist, you must email [email protected] within 3 days to accept your place, after which we will reallocate to the next person on the list.
Repeat Session and Follow Up Webinar
We anticipate there will be a large demand for these sessions. If you would like to attend but cannot make this date, please email our Events Team ([email protected]), so we can understand demand for a hosting a repeat event.
There will be a follow up webinar to this event in April 2026, which will cover the factual information from the in person event.
