About this Event

It’s the final night of Shaped From Earth, and your last chance to experience the solo exhibition of Adeche Atelier in person.

Join Adeche Atelier (Adwoa & Solomon) for a relaxed, fun closing evening featuring a live Q&A hosted by Bissy Akins of All Things Africa. We’ll unpack the stories behind the paintings, the research and references that shaped the series, and what it means to translate African cultural forms; hairstyles, masks and masquerade, folktales, and deities into contemporary fine art. We'll also unpack their journey as artists and content creators inspired by African Mythology and Folklore.

After the conversation, we’ll switch gears with an audience African trivia quiz. Come solo or team up on the night and see how much you really know, expect laughs, friendly competition, and a few surprises.

Spaces are limited, so book early.
