Join us for an evening of art, conversation, and inspiration as we celebrate fashion’s journey across continents and cultures.
Presented by Atlanta Fashion Week and Bloomingdale’s Artist in Residence, Shannel Resto Fashion Cartography maps the intersection of fashion, movement, and cultural storytelling across continents. This exhibition maps Shannel’s journey, celebrating visual landscapes of style, designers, and models across continents. From the creative pulse of Atlanta to New York City, Paris and Italy, this exhibition embarks on an adventure through SJR Photography’s perspective, mapping the world of style and archival moments throughout her career.
Rooted in her background as a dancer and choreographer, Shannel approaches photography as choreography — guided by form, emotion, and intention. Through Fashion Cartography, she invites viewers to see fashion as a living map of identity and connection, a visual journey that travels through art and culture.
