To commemorate the longstanding tradition of drinking on, off, and all around the stage, The Wit's Shakesbeer & Fiction Beer Company - Denver present a FREE frothy, hopped-up tragedy with notes of Lovers, Quarrels, and Original Music...at a taphouse!
THE PLAY: Two starry-eyed 20 somethings fall in love at a party, diving into secret weddings, forbidden romance, and the occasional heartfelt song—all with enough drama to shake their feuding families awake.
THE THING:The Wit's Shakesbeer is performing The Taming of the Shrew, an original 60(ish)-minute adaptation of the lauded Shakespearean comedy.
THE BEAUTY:Actors imbibe before and throughout the entire show...hijinx ensue. "Lambic" pentameter..."Vienna-style" verse—frankly, few things fit together like theatre and beer!
