About this Event
In this playful, hands-on workshop, children (with parents or carers) will design and create their own shadow puppets before bringing them to life through animation. Guided by experienced facilitators, young makers will learn how to move, frame, and “direct” their puppets, experimenting with light, movement, and narrative.
The session introduces the basics of shadow animation in an accessible, creative way - encouraging imagination, collaboration, and confidence. Each child will have the chance to record a short animation, capturing their story on video to take home and share with friends and family.
Perfect for curious minds who love storytelling, making, and experimenting with visual play.
