About this Event

The historic Swindall Tourist Inn was built in 1913 and was used as a safe haven for Black and Brown travelers during the Jim Crow era. It is has beautifully restored adn is the ideal backdrop for the Soul Center's Shades of She Film Fest. Join us for our red carpet opening reception on Friday March 20th from 7pm -10pm with DJ Art Honey. Film screenings, live performances, art, and workshops are from 12pm -5pm on March 21st and March 22nd. Celebrate teh contributions made by Black and Brown wormn this Women's HIstory Month!
