Lisa Shen is a writer and spoken word artist, and the 2023-2025 Youth Poet Laureate of the City of Mississauga. She placed second at the 2023 Canadian Individual Poetry Slam. She was shortlisted for the 2023 League of Canadian Poets Spoken Word Award, and a winner of the 2022 Buddies Queer Emerging Artists Award. Lisa has toured across North America, from California to New York. Her work has appeared on CBC Radio, TEDx, and Rattle. Her debut chapbook A Story Ending in Redwoods is out with Anstruther Press this fall.
Kevin Andrew Heslop is the author of the correct fury of your why is a mountain (Gordon Hill Press, 2021) and, most recently, the rules of grammar will not save you at the hour of your death (with Roxanna Bennett, Baseline Press, 2024). He lives abroad.
