An evening of provocative, exuberant, eclectic performance and poetry is slated to hit the stage as Three Rooms Press presents 2025 SF ¡DADA! DO SALON: a wild ride of contemporary DADA performance and poetry by leading Bay Area maverick artists.
The event includes the official San Francisco launch of the internationally-renowned MAINTENANT 19: Journal of Contemporary Dada Writing and Art (2025, Three Rooms Press), which features more than 230 visual and literary works by artists and writers from six continents.
The event takes place Sunday, December 8, 6 pm, at SPECS’ Twelve Adler Museum Cafe, 12 William Saroyan Place in North Beach. Admission is free. Costumes encouraged. Come as you aren’t.
The line-up features renowned contempoarary DADA artists from the Bay Area and beyond including Mahnaz Badihian, Allison Davis, Carol Dorf, Bob Duncan, Heikki Huotari, Dale Jensen, Jerry the Priest, Milo Star Johnson, Jon Longhi, Richard Loranger, Lily Simonson, Richard Stone, Tate Swindell, Maw Shein Win, and Lorene Zarou-Zouzounis. Three Rooms Press co-founders and MAINTENANT editors Peter Carlaftes and Kat Georges host.
Plus after the reading, for an added attraction, pianist/singer Wendy Fitz and bassist Steve Webber will perform live from 8-9:30pm!!!
