Sex Ed Trivia

Join us for a night of Sex Trivia at Mattie Groves Brewery, hosted by local sex educator Cady Moore.

Whether you're a trivia enthusiast or just curious about sexual health, this event is for you! Test your knowledge about all things sex, relationships, and health in a fun and inclusive environment.

Trivia teams consist of up to 6 people. You can bring your friends and make your own team, or show up and join/create a team on the spot! All identities and backgrounds are welcome. Trivia questions cover a wide variety of sex and sexuality-related topics, so get ready to challenge yourself, learn something new, and have a good time. There will be PRIZES for the winning teams!

Tickets are donation-based. We recommend $10, but please select the option that is best for you and your circumstances.

Donation information: All proceeds will be donated to The Gender Health Center. The Gender Health Center (GHC) is a trans and BIPOC-led non-profit organization located in Sacramento, CA dedicated to the health, wellness, and joy of transgender, non-binary and gender expansive community. GHC offers a wide range of free or low-cost, low-barrier services to the community, including a free hormone clinic, mental health counseling, support groups and cultural programs, harm reduction, legal assistance, healthcare navigation, case management, and resource referrals.

Agenda:

At promptly 7:00pm, we will give a short introduction and explain the rules before diving into TRIVIA! There will be six rounds, with an intermission after the third round.

• You can bring your own food into the brewery or order from Old Soul.
• Non-alcoholic Options are available.
• Bathrooms are all-gender.
• Accessibility: ADA accessible.
• Note that most trivia questions will be read aloud, and some will appear in a pictured/drawn format. At least one member of each team must be able to provide written responses to trivia questions.
• Inclusivity: We will do our best to make trivia questions inclusive of all bodies and sexualities, but we acknowledge that we will not be able to provide accurate or nuanced representations of every experience. Thank you for understanding.

About the Facilitator:

Cady Moore (she/her) is an AASECT-certified sexuality educator and coach who empowers people to live their most pleasurable lives. She is dedicated to perpetuating healthy and positive messages about sexuality and self-worth, and she specializes in vulvovaginal wellness, menstrual health, pleasure exploration and communication, and non-monogamous dating and relationships. For nearly a decade, Cady has been teaching groups of all ages and from a variety of backgrounds. Cady spends her free time reading fantasy novels, painting, and caring for her ball python named Lilith, two cats, and 92 plants (and counting). Follow Cady at @ageofsexploration.
