Class Description
During this workshop you will make a Beach bag from fabrics of your choice. You will make a Dresden plate which will form one part of your bag. You will use webbing for handles, and you can make your handles extendable, and you will use iron on wadding for the bag body. This bag has two pockets big enough for your keys, water bottle and phone. By the end of this lesson, you will have made a completely unique beach bag that will fit all those towels, books, snacks and even some toys to build a sandcastle. Or you can be like us and use it for carrying laptop, diary, notepad and large bottle with water.
This workshop is held on the follwing dates
Session 1 - Saturday 4th May 1pm - 5pm
Session 2 - Saturday 18th May 2pm - 5pm
Or Session 1 and 2 - Saturday 18th May 10am - 1pm and 2pm - 5pm
Or Session 1 and 2 - Saturday 29th June 10am - 1pm and 2pm - 5pm
What do I need to bring?
You will need good mood, smile, patience, and enthusiasm. Everything else will be provided.
Just to sew things up...
All fabrics, materials, sewing machines, tools and threads are provided. Refreshments and biscuits are included.
