Hisewing school is back, and ive added a repeat of this class as the first one in April has booked out in 48hours since launch.
Class 1 : 24th May at 9.30pm to 12.15pm
CWA Milton
$40 plus booking fee
Class includes: meet, greet, assess and maintain machines (as im told lots of people have machines that they arent sure if they work right or if they need support threading) and then a basic sewing class on how to use YOUR own machine!
Ive made a event on humanitix to be able to look after the booking side of things for me. Once you've had a look please feel free to msg me any questions, im here to help and build community!
If this first class doesnt cover what you need let me know. I will say though, that unless your a pro machinist I used to recommend people took this class before doing any of my other workshops which I ran in Melbourne ...as it means everyone is on a great starting point of knowlage or any tips / tricks i share everyone has ❤️
If your wanting to use your skills and put them into practice once you've learnt them, consider booking onto the second class in the afternoon on the 24th May (same day as this one)

Re. Cost - this is offered at a lower rate than i used to charge in Melbourne as I dont want cost in this economic climate to hold people back, and i also havent done this for a while- i may be rusty! That said, If its still too much for you, im happy to consider a reduced rate for individual circumstances, though cant offer that for everyone. But please do reach out if youd like to discuss this more
Need a machine... first up... ask a friend or family - i say this as then you can take the machine home to continue using... if that draws a blank though let me know and ill see what I can borrow for you
This has all come about as I saw people asking for support on a local community group and I thought 'i can do that!'

Disclaimer: im not a machines mechanic so there may be things I cant fix or get working ... and I dont profess to be able to do their job. Having said that I got some pretty bashed up machines working again back in Melbourne and over the years so im willing to give it a good go!
