Join us for a big and rewarding day on the Severn Way as we follow the river out of Wales and into England.Leaving Welshpool behind, the route passes through wide river meadows, open farmland and charming rural hamlets, with the River Severn slowly winding its way through the landscape. It’s a long but scenic stretch, with plenty of classic countryside views along the way.
As the day goes on, the river begins to curve towards Shrewsbury - a historic town famously almost encircled by the Severn.
A fantastic challenge and a memorable day covering a substantial section of the trail.
