Join us for a more relaxed and peaceful day on the Severn Way as we follow the river through some beautiful Mid Wales countryside.Leaving Newtown, much of today’s route follows the tranquil Montgomery Canal towpath, where the canal and the River Severn run side by side. This stretch offers a calm and scenic walk, with plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife while enjoying the quiet rhythm of the water and surrounding countryside.
Our day finishes in Welshpool, a historic market town where rural Welsh landscapes meet a rich local history.
