A truly family run business, the Heart distillery was a spin-off of an already thriving business in Windsor. Pat and Amanda Weakland, both coming from the farming background, were passionate homebrewers. But at the time, there was a nationwide shortage of hops. Pat, seeing an opportunity, decided to start a hops business, which led to opening a brewery. After a bit more time, the next logical move was to start a distillery, and the Heart was born!
