A journal to take notes, and your beautiful selves
This workshop is for you if you are seeking more understanding of embodiment, engaged in Liberatory movements, abolitionism, survivors of state violence, those engaged in providing, receiving and practicing healing work and decolonization and re-indigenization
We will continue to learn about polyvagal theory and engage in somatic awareness practices to support resiliency and finding ease in difficult times as well as integrating SE into your on-going wellness practices and spiritual healing.
In this session we will:
· Review learnings from part 1
· Connecting indigenous practices
· Meet our diaphragm and connection to Soul Nerve (vagus nerve)
· Engage in Somatic Experiencing practice to mitigate Trauma and Vicarious trauma in current socio-political context
· Practice staying in our power and revitalizing our purpose and presence in a collective Somatic experience during a reading from “Our Word is our Weapon” by Subcomandante Marcos
