About this Event
Join your fellow Georgia State senior alumni for the next installment of our Senior Brunch & Learn series, an engaging experience designed for alumni 55+ that combines cultural exploration, connection, and learning.
For this special gathering, we will visit the renowned , one of Atlanta’s most treasured cultural institutions, for a performance of , a haunting and imaginative stage adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe’s most iconic stories.
Following the performance, guests will enjoy a catered brunch and engaging program, including remarks from a Georgia State University School of Film, Media & Theatre representative and time to connect with fellow Panthers.
Senior Brunch & Learn events are designed to foster community, lifelong learning, and meaningful engagement among alumni while highlighting the vibrant cultural and intellectual life of Atlanta.
Tickets are $35 per person and include:
• Admission to the puppet show
• Catered brunch
• Event programming and speaker
Guests will park in the Center for Puppetry Arts parking lot located right next to the building.
Schedule:
10:00 a.m. – Guest check-in opens (Center for Puppetry Arts Lobby)
10:30 a.m. – The Tales of Edgar Allan Poe puppet show
11:30 a.m. – Break and move to Harlequin Hall
11:45 a.m. – Welcome remarks and brunch service begins
12:15 p.m. – Featured speaker from Georgia State University School of Film, Media & Theatre
12:45 p.m. – Prize drawing and closing remarks
1:00 p.m. – Event concludes
This event is open to everyone. The venue is wheelchair and motorized scooter accessible. All guests attending this event must purchase a ticket.
