We see families with inspirational stories everyday, however one of the biggest challenges these families face is not having a support network. At Wren Spinney we aim to change this step by step. SEN Fest is not just a fun day out, (all though fun is definitely on the agenda), we are aiming to bring all support systems, local authorities, private companies and charities all into 1 place at the same time. Why i hear you say, this is the first step for families to find their 'tribe' and develop a support system. It will help them meet charities they were unaware of, make friends with people in similar situations and be a safe environment for their children to be themselves without judgment. This year is the first one, however we would love for this to be a yearly event on everyone's calendar.
