The Garden Club of New Haven presents Semia Dunne, a lecture on transformative floral artistry.
About this Event

Please join The Garden Club of New Haven for our annual Cherry Shaw Swords and Virginia Thorne Shaw open lecture as we host Semia Dunne, founder and CEO of SEMIA.

Semia will share her personal story of how she started her business and will offer a behind the scenes look at the wedding and event industry, with a focus on artful floristry and the luxury market. She will guide us through the full experience of designing for an event, from sourcing and scouting exceptional blooms to managing logistics, operations and on-site execution.

Light refreshments will be served after the program.

Parking is available when entering through Gate 6 at the corner of Huntington and Winchester. The meeting will be held in the Behan Community Room located in the Hubert Campus Center.

We kindly ask that you RSVP for this event by April 1, 2026.
