The Selwyn Marathon will be held on King's Birthday long weekend - Sunday 31st May 2026.This starts and finishes at the Lincoln Events Centre in Lincoln.
The scenery of the event is really that of Selwyn, with the Town of Lincoln and all the development going on, coupled with the Country and Rural feel, even a run through a vineyard. The route takes you through Rossendale Wines off the Akaroa Highway and back out onto Old Tai Tapu Road. Full Marathon, Half Marathon and 10km distances on offer, and a flat, fast course - what else could you ask for?
The 10km is an out and back route. Sorry you don't get to run through Rossendale Wines but if you are 1st, 2nd or 3rd you will get a sample of the wines.
Half Marathon is one lap and the marathon is two laps.
