About this Event
Looking to learn more about self-tying? Interested in trying or honing your skills in self-tying and self-suspension with the support of an instructor & peers? This could be the event for you!
This two-part workshop teaches both practical and theoretical self-tying and self-suspension skills and is open to beginners (if attending both days, or Day 1 only). You will be invited to test different ties on yourself and explore how the ropes can be manipulated (and felt) to create sensations and emotions unique to the practice of self tie.
This will be a physically demanding workshop and participants are encouraged to learn at their own pace and take breaks when required or stop at the level they feel most comfortable. Other accommodations and alternatives can be made possible, and it is ideal to self-advocate or ask in advance where possible to see what options may be available.
This aims to be a supportive learning environment, with built-in breaks and times to ask questions/make known what you’re hoping to learn. Rope can be possible for everyone, and we welcome people of all shapes, sizes, abilities, and gender identities or expressions.
This workshop will be run in English. There is also no aftercare as part of this class, so if you require that, please make your own arrangements.

Instructor Profile
Bunnydough (she/her) discovered a love of selftying during the isolation of the pandemic. She spent many hours embracing the variety of sensations, intentions, and emotions that are inherent in the practice. A long-time rope bottom who has more recently begun embracing her top side in rope as well, she enjoys navigating the spectrum of headspaces that selftie allows one to experience through the course of a tie. Eager to share her love and knowledge of the art, it was an intuitive leap for her to go from practice in isolation to sharing her skills with a wider audience by teaching, performing, and enabling others to discover what she loves about selftying. She has taught in Montreal, Quebec City, Ottawa, New York & Vancouver and is excited to bring her unique style and approach to selftying to Toronto.
inthemidst (they/she/he) has been tying others, self tying/suspending, and getting tied since 2019. Seeing a desire for more rope bottom/switch-led educational and community spaces in Toronto by friends, kinky community circles, and other rope enthusiasts, this passion project was formed. Their goal is to enable education & community focused kink events to complement what is currently available in Toronto, and to make the event as accessible as possible.
