Self Love Women's Circle with Cacao and Sound Bath (optional)

Cosmic Sister,

The time has come again. Let's gather in circle with kindred spirits for an afternoon full of laughter, connection, healing and joy.

The topic we will tune into will be a big and relevant one...Self-Love!

We oftentimes find it easy and effortless to extend our utmost kindness and love to others but when it comes to showing the same qualities to ourselves we may not be as generous.

We may struggle...

to tame the voice of our harsh inner critic;

to overcome feelings of imposter syndrome;

to acknowledge that we are worthy and oh so loved!

What better way to journey back to our inner selves and bathe in glorious self-love and TLC, than carving out some hours and getting together with some other like-minded women?

Women's circles are nothing new. They have been taking place for eons. In little tribes somewhere in the middle of the rainforest. With our grandmothers around an open fire in the garden. In community centers spread across the western world. In living rooms across London.

They may not have always been called women's circles but that's what they are. A safe space for women to be fully seen & heard, to be witnessed and held. A space where we can drop into our authentic selves, without fear of being judged or misunderstood.

We will refrain from giving unsolicited advice, as there is nothing and nobody to fix.

We will simply witness one another and be fully present.

This transformational space will be held with the utmost reverence and respect. A safe container for anybody that identifies as female. Whatever is shared in the circle, stays in the circle.

Our afternoon together will include ceremonial cacao, a sharing circle and a magical sound bath - which is optional - using the powers of the gong and alchemy singing bowls.

We will be opening and connecting to our hearts with sacred Cacao.

Cacao is a gentle and powerful plant medicine, that has been used for ceremonial purposes for eons. She will be acting uniquely and individually on a personal level, through opening and connecting with your heart, surrendering and letting go. She compassionately bridges the gap between ourselves, other and the natural world.

We will also be weaving in the magic of flower essences throughout the day to support us in the opening of our hearts in a gentle way. Flowers essences are catalysts to unlock our highest potential, they help us to understand and remind ourselves of who we are.

We will also include additional elements, depending on where the energy of the group takes us. This can look like the following:

- dancing/movement

- group exercises

- journalling

- voice work

There are two choices in terms of tickets.

1) Women's Circle and Cacao only. We will open the circle, drink cacao, include some additional elements such as movement, dance etc and close the circle and say our goodbyes. No sound bath included. Event starts at 12:00 midday and finishes at 2:30pm.

2) Women's Circle, Cacao and Sound Bath. All of the above plus the sound bath at the end of the event included. Event starts at 12:00 midday and finishes at 3:15pm.

Hot Yoga Peckham has mats, bolsters and blankets available. Should you wish to bring an additional (eye)pillow or blanket, then that is of course fine. Please also bring some water with you.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the session to get settled in. Don't be late! Once we are in flow and doors will close.

Sound baths are not recommended for pregnancies in the first trimester, individuals with pacemakers/metal implants, epilepsy or any form of a serious mental health condition. By purchasing your ticket, you confirm that you have read and understood these conditions.

Ceremonial cacao is not recommended if you are on anti-depressants, antipsychotic Medic*tion, SSRI's, HTP5 or if you have a heart condition or suffer from low blood pressure.If you are pregnant or breastfeeding then a smaller dose of cacao is recommended. Cacao contains a small amount of caffeine and acts as a stimulant, so if you are sensitive to caffeine you may want to take only a small dose.

Theresa is a highly intuitive triple water sign, a gong player and holistic therapist, based in South East London. She is mother to 13-months old Frankie and feels very passionate about women's empowerment work and all things (free)birthing and motherhood.

Mayra is an intuitive empath, channel and sound healer, breathwork and flower essences practitioner based in East London. She is passionate about guiding people to the awareness of who they truly are and their divinity.
