Join us for a rejuvenating journey of sound and relaxation with our signature "Self Care Sound Bath Immersion" at Nichiren Buddhist Church in Los Angeles.

There’s a quiet, reverent beauty to hosting our sound bath at a Japanese Buddhist temple—a space where stillness is woven into the architecture and every element invites presence. Surrounded by centuries-old wisdom and the simplicity of nature, the energy feels sacred and grounding. The resonance of the instruments lingers differently here, echoing through the wooden beams and open air with a sense of peace that can’t be replicated. It’s a reminder that healing doesn’t always need to be loud or grand—it can be soft, intentional, and deeply rooted in tradition.
Through sound baths, we work with the foundations of music using notes, harmonics, frequency, and vibration to create a powerful meditative journey that helps bring greater clarity and awareness to our minds and hearts. Alongside this benefit is a chance to get in touch with our emotional bodies, the relationship we have with them, and how we can better understand the messages behind them.
Once we’ve processed and integrated the overall experience, we can then begin to make more conscious decisions that benefit our overall well-being.
New to sound baths? Research has shown that novice meditators have a much more profound experience their first time than experienced meditators who practice regularly. Regardless of your level, our sound baths require nothing except for you to simply lay back, relax, and receive. Kyle Lam comes with over a decade’s worth of musical experience and facilitating healing ceremonies throughout Southern California and is known for curating powerful healing experiences for the community.
To maximize your comfort during the sound bath, kindly bring the following items:
- Yoga Mat
- Blanket
- Pillow
- Eye Covering (to enhance the theta experience)
- Cushion to prop up your legs
- Water
- Wear comfortable and loose clothing

Enhance your sound bath experience by renting a blanket or two for additional warmth and comfort. Each blanket is cleaned and disinfected before our events and are convenient for those who wish to come to the sound bath without having the worry of bringing their own set up. We advise renting at least two blankets per person with the addition of a third if you need one to elevate your head.
We will have a resident tarot reader offering tarot readings for this event as well. Feel free to arrive early to receive a reading or receive one after the sound bath concludes.
