Seis por ocho takes you on a journey through the universe of chamamé. Where time stops and the chamamé rises with the charming melodies in the accordion of Pablo Bentos, with the guitar playing of Sergio Cabrera and the singing of the voice and story telling of Nino Zannoni. Their music is a delicate balance of the universal and the rooted, the contemporary and the traditional—an ever-evolving bridge that honors the past while forging new sonic landscapes. In a world where authenticity and exploration are the pulse of living folklore, Seis por Ocho emerges as a vibrant, heartfelt project that breathes passion and depth into every note.
The trio Seis por Ocho came to life in March 2023, when they were invited on a tour through the south of Brazil.. A year later, in March 2024, they embarked on Seis por Ocho por el Viejo Mundo, a concert that enchanted audiences in Portugal, France, and the Netherlands. By the end of August 2024, they unveiled their debut album, Seis por Ocho—a musical journey that blends original compositions, both instrumental and vocal, with melodies that blossomed spontaneously from their shared artistic soul.
In 2025 they had a second and succesfull European tour. Now also making projects together with orquestra. Looking for new sounds together with their tradition.
