Celebrate FIVE fabulous years of our annual Seeds Philly event with us! To honor this milestone, we're curating an entire weekend of fantastic programming. Saturday's powwow features Indigenous dancers and singers from across the Northeast. Sunday is packed with performances, talks, and showcases of contemporary Indigenous arts and cultures. Sunday's stage features: human rights defender Roberto Múkaro Borrero, muralist Priscilla Bell Lamberty, musical artist Zachariah Julian, actor Gregory Norman Cruz, performing artist Nicholson Billey, children's book author Colleen Farwell, dance troupe We Are the Seeds, producer Michelle St. John.
Creative stations feature: corn husk doll-making with Dawn Spears, live paint by Priscilla Bell Lamberty, conversations with Gregory Norman Cruz.
Artist booths include: Roy Tenorio (jewelry), David Farnham (sculpture), Deborah Spears Moorhead (painting), Dawn Spears (multimedia), Colleen Farwell (author), artisans of El Mercado Cultural, and many more!
