Looking to get your garden ready for the season? Join us at the Gowkthrapple Community Garden for our Seed & Plant Swap and Gardeners Social! 🌱
Whether you're an experienced grower clearing out your seed box, or you're just starting out and don't have any seeds to share yet—no problem! Everyone is welcome to come along and get what you need to get growing.
What’s happening on the day:
Swap & Share: Bring your spare flower/veg seeds, and indoor or outdoor plants to swap.
Pick up something special: We will have a small selection of Scottish heritage vegetable seeds available—perfectly adapted to our local climate!
Mobile Seed Library: Lanarkshire Seed Savers Network will be joining us. Borrow from their collection and learn how to save your own seeds for next year.
Save Money: Avoid the cost of buying new packets by swapping with your neighbours.
Come for the seeds, stay for the chat! ☕
Enjoy free teas and coffees, meet other local growers, and have a look around our community garden.
