About this Event
Linda A. Fletcherhas been making art since she was old enough to use a box of Crayola crayons. She started taking oil painting lessons when she was 8 years old; but in high school she got her hands on clay for the first time and knew this would be her chosen medium. Twelve years later she found the pottery studio at the Nashua Center for the Arts and spent several years taking classes from various teachers and eventually started teaching there. This job led to meeting someone looking for a pottery teacher for Bishop Guertin High School where she has been teaching for 28 years. During this time, she attended the NH Institute of Art and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. She continues to create in clay, working in her home studio in Manchester, NH. She has been a juried member of the League of NH Craftsmen and a longtime member of the NH Potters Guild where she is currently the Co-chairperson as well as part of the Education and Empty Bowls committees.
