Seduced by Art bring their creative sessions for children to Upstairs at the Ritzy in Brixton

You might have seen us last year in Wandsworth libraries, Battersea Arts Centre, Crystal Palace Park or at Brixton's Car Free days ..
We're coming out of hibernation for our first Children's art event of 2026 ...it's time to warm up those brushes and have fun getting creative to the music played by DJ 279

The venue - Upstairs at The Ritzy, is right in the heart of Brixton and easy to reach by public transport.
Our workshops aim to provide a dynamic opportunity for creative expression and build confidence in the children's own abilities and explore their individual style.
Under the guidance of our co-founders & artists Salfreckles & Jay Da Creator, children will be supported to unleash their inner artist. Throughout the afternoon, the Seduced by Art team will be on hand to provide tips, hints, and artistic ideas to help build your children build skills whilst creating their very own artwork as the grooves flow.
All materials are provided, PLUS each child gets to take their masterpiece home with them !
Setting the musical tone will be award winning Hip Hop DJ & original Choice FM radio presenter DJ 279, dropping a vibrant range of music that children and parents/carers will enjoy (parents be reassured : clean versions only!)
The venue’s cool Upstairs bar and balcony is the perfect spot to grab a drink, mingle, and soak up the creative energy as your children get arty!
*We are DBS checked, however for health and safety reasons, parents/carers/adults must stay in the space to enjoy time with, and supervise their child(ren)
Upstairs' Bar will be open all afternoon serving drinks - soft and otherwise.

Info: When you arrive at 3 get yourself and child a drink at the Upstairs bar if you wish, then head upstairs to the gallery space and settle your child(ren) at a table. Resources will be provided for each of ticket holder. You will be guided through the process by Salfreckles & Jay Da Creator, whilst DJ 279 plays the music to inspire the creativity!
