About this Event
As organizations accelerate cloud adoption, automation, and AI, traditional point security controls break down and create dangerous gaps between tools, teams, and environments. This session introduces the concept of a security control plane and shows how identity, cryptography, and policy can work together to provide consistent guardrails across hybrid infrastructure without slowing down delivery. Attendees will learn practical patterns for secrets management, machine identity, and policy enforcement at scale, along with real-world lessons from building and operating these capabilities in highly regulated environments. The talk will close with concrete career guidance for security and DevOps practitioners who want to grow from “tool operators” into engineers who design and own security platforms and control planes.
This ISSA Chapter Meeting is open to non-ISSA members and there is no registration fee. We ask for a Reserve a Seat registration so that we can plan our food and refreshments. A zoom connection is available for those unable to attend with details below.
