MWDW Sea Watches at the Sound are back for 2026 and we are delighted to collaborate with Manx BirdLife once again.Join us monthly at the Sound to look out for whales, dolphins, porpoises, basking sharks, seals and sea birds. We have binoculars to borrow, but please bring your own camping chair or picnic blanket and snacks! There is no need to book, just turn up and stay for as long or as little as you like.
Times are slightly different this year, designed to coincide with the 8s bus service which runs from Peel to the Sound. We hope this will enable more people to join us, reduce emissions and reduce the number of parked cars on the road down to the Sound at busy times.
The only date we are keeping as 11am-1pm is Bank holiday Monday 4th May which is an additional event for Manx Wildlife Week.
Additional dates will be added as and when the weather allows.
Sea watches are subject to cancellation in poor weather. Keep notified via the Facebook page.
