SDGs Fest is back!
Join Nathalie and Diane from The Sustainable Life School for SDGs Fest, as we put the micro festival vibes in the Sustainable Development Goals at this very unique and exciting event. Hosted at the atmospheric Windmill Quarter, we promise to bring you a Thursday evening that will put a spring in your susty step!
With a theme of Together For Climate and inspired by the SDGs, this curated event will leave you feeling uplifted and connected.Hear from inspiring guests for some Thursday night chats .The panel will explore how you can take climate action in your life and workplace, spoiler ”you don’t need to work in sustainability”, featuring: Fionnuala Moran (2FM, The Six O'Clock Show)Manuel Salazar (Sea Sheperds activist) and Clare O'Reilly (Client Manager and Chair of the Green Team at Core)
Then choose from one of two fun creative sessions to help you engage in climate conversations and action in new ways:
In Defence of Weeds - Print workshop with chats about biodiversity and the wonderful world of plant/insect relationships.
In this workshop we will print "weeds" and talk about why they are important. Participants will come away with their own printed greeting card and envelope. All materials are provided. You are welcome to bring a used tote bag, tshirt or notebook if you would like to repurpose one of your own items.
Climate Improv with Luke Benson join Luke to learn fun improv games and techniques to help us to think on our feet and use improv as a tool to explore feelings and ideas about Climate.
The evening will culminate in live performances from:
Climate Comedy Improv
Azerty - rap / hip hop artist
Enjoy a welcome aperitivo with a drink and light nibbles on arrival before the main event kicks off.
Arrival time between 6:30 and 7pm. Event will kick off at 7pm
Early Booking is highly recommended as places are limited. There are two ticket options Free Ticket or Ticket with donation all of which will help us cover the cost of this special event. There are limited numbers for the creative sessions and will be allocated on a first come first served basis when you arrive.
SDGs Fest is part of National Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Week. The Sustainable Life School are former SDG Champions and current SDG ambassadors.
