Join us for the inaugural San Diego River Community Arts Day at Grant Park!Experience a unique opportunity to connect with the river through the power of art and culture. A diverse group of artists—curated by the San Diego River Artists Alliance and others—will showcase river-inspired works that uplift creative voices and share unique perspectives.
This fun and meaningful special event fosters dialogue about the rich culture, history, present-day stories, and significance of the San Diego River, bringing the community together through creativity and connection.
This FREE event is from 11 am - 3 pm!
Come on down and enjoy:
-11:00 am – 3 pm: San Diego River themed art displays and sales by the San Diego River Artists Alliance and others
-11:00 am – 3 pm: Meet and greet with artists and hear their river stories
-11: 00 am – 3 pm: Community picnic with fellow nature and art lovers (pack your own snacks and drinks!)
Fun hands-on nature-based art activities:
-11 am – 3 pm: Live art fence mural painting
-11:30 am – 1:30 pm: Leaf rubbing activity with the River Park Foundation’s Education Team
-11:30 am – 2:00 pm: Art FORM art activity
-Live art demos (times TBA).
-12 pm – 2 pm: Kona Ice Truck with shaved ice for sale
-1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Live acoustic 70’s music with Point Rock
