Presented by the Brighton Arts and Culture Council (BACC) as part of the BACC Workshop Series.
Instructor: Eliz Roberts
Transform simple materials into lasting beauty in this immersive two-night hands-on workshop. Over two dedicated sessions, you will create a single, elegant bloom from air-dry clay, focusing on the perfect balance between structural technique and creative artistry.
We will guide you step-by-step through the delicate process of making a clay flower feel fresh, fluid, and natural. Throughout the workshop, we will explore professional color blending, intricate petal texturing, and those subtle, simple finishing touches that elevate a handmade piece into a realistic botanical masterpiece. This experience is designed to be both meditative and educational, ensuring you leave with a unique floral creation and the skills to continue sculpting at home.
To ensure your bloom maintains its graceful shape, please bring a bud vase or empty bottle to the workshop to hold your flower while it dries between steps.
