We will be working at Strawberry Bank. **Please note that this site is a steep bank and unsuitable for those who may be unstable on their feet.**
We will meet on site at 10:00am and finish at approximately 15:00. We will meet at Beacon Farm, Beacon Lane, Off Marlow Road, Marlow, SL7 3DQ.
You don't need to print off your Eventbrite ticket!
The Task:
We will be clearing lots of scrub to help create a beautiful habitat for butterflies. Expect chain sawing, lopping, sawing and raking!
Timings (please note these timings are approximate):
10.00: Arrival for safety briefing, please don't be late!
10.15: Work begins
11.30: Tea & coffee break
13.00: Lunch break - please bring your own.
15.00: Work finishes, time to go home.
What to bring:
Please bring your gloves (we will have spares) and dress for the weather and the task.
Long trousers are advisable as there is thorny vegetation. We also recommend wearing steel toe capped or sturdy boots rather than trainers.
Wear layers that you can remove if you get hot whilst working. Bring a waterproof as most of our sites have no shelter from the rain.
Please bring plenty of fluids and a packed lunch. We will bring a tea kit and biscuits.
