In early 2000s Sicily, Catello, a career politician recently released from Pr*son for mafia affiliations, is stripped of power and respect. When Italian intelligence approaches him to help capture Matteo, his godson and the last prominent fugitive mafia boss, Catello seizes the opportunity to reclaim his status. Employing his cunning, he initiates a deceptive letter exchange with Matteo, aiming to exploit the fugitive's vulnerabilities. However, this dangerous game of manipulation carries unforeseen consequences.
