Join us for an exclusive screening of The Opera! Arie per un’eclissi, the 2024 Italian musical drama directed by Davide Livermore and Paolo Gep Cucco. This modern retelling of the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice blends classical opera with contemporary visuals, featuring costumes designed by Dolce & Gabbana. The film premiered as a special screening at the 2024 Rome Film Fest.
On their wedding day, Eurydice is tragically killed by gunfire. Devastated, Orpheus embarks on a quest to the underworld, represented by the Grand Hades Hotel, to reclaim his beloved. Along the way, he encounters iconic characters and confronts his deepest fears, all set to a soundtrack of renowned opera arias.
