The Tisburys are an indie rock band from Philadelphia, PA led by singer-songwriter Tyler Asay. The band has released three full-length albums, most recently 2022’s Exile On Main Street, which combines influences of heartland rock and power pop hooks with jangly guitars and gritty lyrical storytelling. Their music has received praise and radio play from NPR, Little Steven’s Underground Garage, and 88.5 WXPN, where they played the XPoNential Music Festival. They have shared the stage with national acts (Gin Blossoms, Jenny Lewis, Drive-By Truckers, Old 97’s) and local Philadelphia heroes such as The War On Drugs, Baroness, and Dave Hause. The band recently completed their first East Coast tour and have begun recording their fourth LP due out next year.Scoville Unit, led by long-time friends (and ex-college roommates) Drew Isleib and Gandhar Savur, has just released its fourth album, See What Can Be. The band has received some unexpected accolades over recent years. On their last S/T record they were described in the press as “pure pop rock genius”, and “winsome and infectious”.
Plans to Sand is an alternative-indie pop band from Philadelphia fronted by ‘singing sisters’ Jessica Pappas and Adrienne Swiatocha. Compared to acts such as Veruca Salt and Belly, their melodic hooks, mellifluous harmonies, and contagious energy have delighted fans at the Grape Room, the Foundry, and PhilaMOCA to name a few.
