Volunteer to lead scouts at Great Saltpetre Cave Preserve I need a few guides and gunners to help lead a couple of trips for our local scouts on April 25th at GSP. Camping will be free for volunteers this weekend.
No experience is necessary, I will train you as a tailgunner (or sweep), which is an essential position that assists the lead guide. You'll begin to learn a scout friendly route through a cave and eventually you'll be able to guide your own trips!
I’ll head down on Friday night and cave Saturday and maybe throw in a bonus cave on Sunday if there’s interest.
For prospective members, this will count as a cave trip to apply to your membership requirement. Any questions? Just ask…
