Join us as we welcome Kentucky Chautauqua Speaker, Lisa Woods, as she depicts Loretta Lynn in "Memories of a Coal Miner's Daughter" performance. It will be held on Saturday, April 25th at Noon at the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame Lobby. It is Free to attend the performance with no ticket required. All ages are welcome.Loretta Lynn was known for her songs and stories as she came from Butcher Holler, Kentucky. Loretta broke barriers, told women’s stories with honesty and grit, and changed country music forever. Her voice, songwriting, and fearless spirit continue to inspire generations. She was also one of our pioneer inductees in 2002 and helped established the Kentucky Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Join us as we celebrate her life and music through this special performance. This program is funded in part by the KY humanities and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
